Terms of the table
Last updated July 2026. Using Roundtable means agreeing to these.
Counsel, not professional advice
The advisors are AI characters. Their counsel — however sharp it sounds — is insight and perspective, not legal, medical, financial, tax, or mental-health advice, and no professional relationship of any kind is created by using this product. AI-generated counsel can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken. The decisions you make remain yours: final consent always stays with you, and you agree not to treat any verdict as a substitute for a qualified professional when the stakes call for one. The Measure is self-insight, not a clinical or psychological assessment.
Who may sit
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for what you bring to the table and for anything done under links or keys you hold (hall invites, share links, your own API key).
Conduct in the public rooms
In the Square, on the floor, and in public chat: no hate slurs, no harassment or threats, no doxxing, no spam or link-flooding, no illegal content, no impersonation. We may remove content and restrict access to protect the table. Private halls run on their members' own norms, but illegal content is banned everywhere. Content you publish stays yours; you grant us the license needed to host and display it, which is the entire point of publishing it.
Bring-your-own-key
If you connect your own API key, usage on it is billed by your provider under your agreement with them. The key stays in your browser; you can forget it at any time, and you are responsible for its use from your device.
The service, as it stands
Roundtable is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It is a young product in active construction: features may change, pause, or retire, and the shared chamber rate-limits itself when busy. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of $50 or what you paid us in the past twelve months. Some jurisdictions limit these limitations, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.
Housekeeping
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the operator's state of residence. We may update these terms; continued use after a posted change is acceptance. If a clause is held unenforceable, the rest stand. Questions to the keeper: support@theroundtable.social.
